- To graduate to the rank of NauticEd Captain you must:
- Complete the requirements for Bareboat Charter Master
- Complete the Sail Trim Clinic
- Complete the Storm Tactics Clinic
- Complete the Weather Clinic
- Complete the Safety at Sea Clinic
- Have a minimum of 50 days sailing on the water
- on a sailboat 28 foot (8m) or greater in length
- 25 days of which must be as Master of the vessel
