Level V Captain Rank Qualified Sailing Instructor / Assessor

I grew up sailing on the Great Lakes. After graduating with a BFA in Theatre Arts, I embarked on a 40-year career sailing professionally throughout the Caribbean, Mediterranean, East Coast USA, Bahamas, and Capetown. I have focused on safely delivering and managing offshore yachts to distant destinations. I am a proud owner of a Compact 19 and I am currently restoring a classic Tartan 27. As someone who has been fortunate to spend my entire adult life focused on pleasure and charterboat operations and maintenance, I bring a serious down to earth view of sailing. It is my passion and my profession. I know that knowledge combined with experience brings confidence and calm on the water. I am excited to share my experience and joy of sailing with students at every level.
