My approach is different from many sailing schools that rush students through a pre-formatted program. I’ve experienced those programs myself and left feeling unsure and unfulfilled. I’ve been sailing the Texas Gulf Coast and Caribbean since purchasing my first sailboat, backed by an Associate of Science in Engineering Design. I’m completing my NauticEd Captain Rank, with SLC and Catamaran endorsements coming in early 2025. These credentials and my extensive hands-on experience enable me to provide tailored, comprehensive sailing instruction to meet each student’s unique needs.

When training in the Austin, Texas area, you'll be learning aboard a well-equipped 27' Pearson monohull, perfect for mastering essential sailing skills in a hands-on environment. This classic sailboat provides a stable and responsive platform, ideal for beginners and experienced sailors alike.

Upon request, I will travel to the BVI to provide personalized sailing instruction for small groups and couples aboard their chartered vessels. We'll work together to build an instructional itinerary based on the NauticEd curriculum, with assessments available to ensure you're achieving your sailing goals.
Notes: In addition to traveling to the BVI for custom sailing instruction, I offer year-round training in the Austin, Texas area, where you can learn on beautiful Lake Travis. I'm also available for hire across the USA and the Caribbean, bringing expert sailing instruction to the location of your choice. Whether you're local or looking for instruction in a dream destination, I'll work with you to create a tailored learning experience that aligns with your goals.
