ease of understanding
Good but love the complexity of incorporating sail boats under wind and engine power
easy to follow good flow
Great deal of really useful information here, can’t recommend this highly enough!
Very good presentation of useful information.
valuable information, the chapters are very precise and the objective is achieved.
great, relevant material
Fairly concise yet complete
Rules of the “water” easy to read and good refresher for any recreational boater
simple to understand , didn't get too technical with numbers. this was a very practical course and essential for everyone. I have lived and worked on the water in the past and still this was an excellent reminder of the basic common sense rules.
an Important must class, hopefully all boaters take it.
Nice free course
Examples
In the case below, the sailboat has its sails down and is using its engine - Rule 3 says it is a power-driven vessel and thus a powerboat. It is in a crossing situation with another power-driven vessel. The sailboat will see the red light side of the powerboat and so here from Rule 15 the sailboat must keep clear of the powerboat and it should avoid impeding the powerboat considering the position of the two boats in this image, the sailboat should avoid crossing in front of the powerboat. Discretion is left to the give-way skipper as to which way to turn to best avoid a close-quarters situation.

I now have 2 bareboat catamaran charters in the Grenadines under my belt. From my knowledge gained with NauticEd, I encountered no issues or difficulties and both charter companies were completely satisfied with my NauticEd resume. Thanks for making this happen for me and my family.
